InfiMed recommends the installation of all Microsoft® Windows Critical Updates to reduce system vulnerability. Microsoft® Windows Critical Updates are validated by InfiMed and any that are found to be incompatible with InfiMed software are listed below.

The following Microsoft® Windows Critical Updates have been found to be incompatible with the InfiMed digital systems:

• None (all Critical Updates can be installed

To Install Microsoft® Windows Critical Updates and Service Packs, follow the instructions below:

1. From your InfiMed digital system, log onto http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
2. Click on the "Scan for updates" link.
3. In the left frame you will see the following choices listed:
   Critical Updates and Service Packs
   Windows 2000
   Driver Updates
   
4. Click on the "Critical Updates and Service packs" link.
5. All Critical Updates and the following Service Packs can be installed:
   • Windows Service Packs: Up to, and including, Service Pack 4
   • Internet Explorer Service Packs: Up to, and including, Service Pack 1

   IMPORTANT: No Service Packs newer than those defined above should be installed. In the right frame, select the "Remove" button for any Service Pack that should not be installed, as defined above.

6. Click on the "Review and install updates" link near the top of the right frame.
